Summary of Position: A professional nurse who has clinical responsibilities for the daily operation of the Integro Health Systems. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating the delivery of patient care within established regulatory guidelines and professional nursing practice standards. 

This is a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm position; requires the ability to be on call scheduled rotation.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Manage assigned clinical staff including but not limited to hiring, scheduling, monitoring workload, conducting performance evaluations and implementing disciplinary action, when necessary.
  • Monitors staffing assignments for day to day unit needs.
  • Manage Time-Off schedules for designated clinical staff.
  • Complete bi-monthly payroll.
  • Oversees clinical care, establishing and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and standards working with Clinical Educator to ensure quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical record documentation.
  • Provides direct supervision to staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patient health. Serves as a key problem-solving resource for staff on patient issues. Studies patient needs/trends and suggests solutions to ongoing patient care problems.
  • Oversees defined patient care areas to ensure all protocols are being followed, log books are properly filled out and in compliance with AZDHS licensure requirements.
  • Coaches staff to maximize performance and improve efficiencies.
  • Monitor clinical standing physician orders and oversee application assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge of community based behavioral health services.  Must have knowledge of the spectrum of mental illnesses, DSM-5 codes and descriptions, psychotropic medications and crisis intervention. 
  • Must be energetic, flexible, creative, innovative individual who likes to be a part of a team but can also work independently.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.    
  • Requires a minimum of three (3) years of psychiatric RN clinical practice that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 
  • Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license. 
  • Must be in good standing with the Arizona Board of Nursing.  Requires BLS issued CPR certification. 
  • Requires Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead others; work autonomously and in group settings; be highly motivated with a strong incentive to succeed.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and ability to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs; manage time and stress effectively. Demonstrates effective problem solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
